Guidance Counselor

SAMA LIZNANE NGUM is a dedicated Counsellor and Librarian with over five years of experience supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development. She holds a Degree in Educational Psychology with a minor in Library Sciences from University of Buea and is bilingual in English and French.

Passionate about student wellbeing and growth, she has attended several professional workshops and trainings on Gender-Based Violence in schools, psychosocial support for young students, sexuality and sex education for teenagers, life skills education, and counseling interventions. These trainings have strengthened her ability to guide, mentor, and support students in creating healthy behaviors, emotional balance, and positive academic outcomes.

With experience in counseling, library management, behavior support, and student mentorship, she is committed to promoting a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that encourages reading culture, creativity, confidence, and personal development among learners.
