School Uniforms and Dress Code

At Ladybird Group of Schools, our uniform is a symbol of pride, discipline, and belonging. It reflects our commitment to "High Moral Standards" by ensuring all students are presented neatly and professionally. Wearing the uniform correctly fosters a sense of unity and equality among our learners across all levels.

Annual Distribution

• New Students: Two (2) complete pairs of uniforms upon enrollment.

• Returning Students: One (1) new pair of uniform at the start of every academic year.

• For additional sets or sizing, please contact the School Administration.

Level Descriptions

• Early Years (Pre-Nursery – Nursery 2): Bright, flexible play-friendly sets (shorts/pinafores).

• Primary School (Grades 1 – 6): Formal branded shirts/blouses with tailored trousers or pleated skirts.

• Secondary School (Forms 1 – 5): Structured academic attire featuring the school tie and formal trousers/skirts.

• High School (Sixth Form): Executive senior uniform including blazers/vests to signify leadership and maturity.

Rules and Regulations (Strict Compliance)

To maintain "High Moral Standards," the following rules apply to all students while in uniform:

1. Jewelry & Accessories: No jewelry is permitted except for a simple functional wristwatch. Girls may wear small, plain gold or silver stud earrings (one per ear). No necklaces, bracelets, or anklets.

2. Cosmetics & Grooming: Makeup, nail polish, and artificial eyelashes are strictly prohibited. Nails must be kept short and clean.

3. Hair & Headwear: Hair must be kept neat and in natural colors. No flamboyant styles or colorful hair extensions. No hats or caps are to be worn inside school buildings.

4. Piercings & Tattoos: No visible body piercings (other than standard earlobe) or tattoos are allowed.

5. Footwear: Only polished black leather shoes and official school socks are permitted. No sneakers or sandals except during sports periods.

6. Modesty: Uniforms must be of the correct size; "slim-fitting" or shortening of skirts above the knee is not permitted.

Failure to adhere to these dress code policies will result in disciplinary action as outlined in the Student Handbook.
